IDC and IE Pattaya Thailand - July 2005

Well we have done it again! 100% pass rate and record for 2005!!!A strong group of dive interns for this IDC and IE - the 5th of the year! All dive trainees have been with us for a minimum of 4 months and having worked hard deserved to make the grade as now professional PADI dive 7 NEW PADI dive professional interns instructors. These 7 internship divers make the total of new instructors 49 this year alone all about to embark on a new dive career. The candidates for this IDC and IE were (2nd left to right) Clive, Harvey, Sue, Seth, Greg, Rosie, Matt. I'd also like to extend a big thanks to Manx (Staff instructor) and of course, Stephen Blumenthal the resident PADI course director and "boss" in the center with the sign..

You will by now recognize many of the guys from the other photo pages from the "Friends Similans" live-aboard trips and even the Songkran day pictures.

The group photograph of the dive interns was taken literally just 30 minutes before the PADI Instructor Examination was about to begin. There were a few nerves but nothing near as present as at the begging of the IDC. Seeing the guys at the start of the IDC - they were different people half way through. This is not a time to be nervous - if you have put the work in and found a good balance between dive training and study and fun then you should have no problems at all. After all - the IDC stands for the Instructor "Development" Course and hence this is where we really get your confidence up and turn any weaknesses into strengths if any have not been addressed already.
