| | Mermaid's CDC Scuba Diving Internships
Scuba diving internships are what we specialize
in here at Mermaids CDC (PADI Career Development Center) Jomtien, Pattaya,
Thailand, Asia. The dive internships are not just for the
scuba diver that wishes to learn professional status and become a divemaster or
diver
instructor through the IDC and IE training but also for the divers that wish to
go the technical diving path or maybe to the recreational Master Scuba Diver rating - the highest PADI non
professional dive rating. All dive traineeships are offered through Mermaids CDC
Learn-in-Asia scuba diving academy and are the most comprehensive available. Our
dive college has the highest credentials and most specialized dive and scuba
related programs on offer in the area.
We offer regular scuba courses for those on
holiday or having fun with recreational scuba diving. Recreational dive courses
are offered
in PADI certification.
The dive programs below are all dive
internship training programs. Each is designed to offer the most complete
content in it's individual area of diving. Those that wish to dive for pleasure
can gain that from the scuba internships. Those that seriously wish to work
diving - the internships will begin a scuba career

MSD (Master Scuba
Diver) internship |
| The
MSD (Master Scuba Diver) certification is awarded to the recreational
diver that has successfully completed the PADI Open Water, Advanced Open
Water, EFR, Rescue Diver and 5 PADI Specialty Diver Courses. The MSD is
the highest PADI recreational diving certification allowing the diver to
be skilled in many areas but not work in diving. Learn

| The
PADI Divemaster certification is the first rung on the professional
ladder. This respectable diving qualification will allow the certified to
assist dive instructors, run trips, lead trial dives, organize dive
logistics, and possess solid dive theory and skills, lead certified divers as
just some of the useful skills. As a dive-master the scuba diving industry
opens to you and it is entirely possible to find dive work. Mermaid's

Divemaster
- PADI Instructor |
| The
Dive Master to PADI dive instructor is an upgrade package. For all of the
dive masters out there that wish to upgrade to the OWSI certification and
start really working in diving - this is the one! It is possible to take a
simple IDC (Instructor Development Course) to become an instructor and
find diver work but the internship method prepares the diver much better
for the exams and skills. Based over a 2 month period the preparation for

| This
(as the other dive internships) can be joined at any level diver or even
with NO prior dive experience. Dreaming of scuba work and diving for a

that you are not only well trained and prepared but also possess all of
the tools (dive equipment) and materials for the job. (You will be trained

MSDT and PADI STAFF Instructor - Dive Career Development |
| Mermaid's
Dive Center is a long standing PADI CDC (Career Development Center)
allowing easily to offer further dive career development. The Master Scuba
Diver Trainer and PADI Staff Instructor ratings are offered as internships
with Mermaids. All inclusive programs with certifications, manuals and
accommodation making it very easy to increase your PADI certification

Platinum
and Gold Upgrade dive packages |
| The
Gold and Platinum Internship packages are "Add-ons" to any other
program offered by Mermaids or if you are already a diver they can be
taken in their own right. Basically they are value added courses such as
the ASSET (Association of Scuba Service Engineers and Technicians),
Tri-Mix diving and Re-breather diving etc. Learn

Technical Dive

Mermaids Technical diving internships take a
diver into the realm of deeper and or longer diving for differing environments.
The technical internships are recreational dives only. Technical tuition
to instructor level is available on request. The technical diving
internships cover diving activities such as Nitrox, Gas Blending, Extended
Range Tri-Mix, and the DSAT Deep Tec dive courses etc. There are two to

- Dive Business Management Training - Resort Operations Manager Internship |

CDC has an excellent record of in water and dry land based internships
that lead to high employability in the dive industry. The BMT (Dive Center
Business Management Training) program is designed to offer a wealth of
knowledge in logistics, sales/marketing, accounting, dealing with
customers, staff and other diver training agencies. All of the hands-on experience
that you will gain is directly applicable to exactly the work that will be
required to operate and manage a dive resort. All training is conducted with

By enrolling in one of our scuba diving internship
programs you not only get to whistle on your way to study or dive work each day
but enjoy

All of the professional scuba diving traineeships offered
result in a dive job placement service if required. We have been placing freshly
trained dive professionals into scuba diving careers very successfully since the
programs began. Our professional diver training has increasingly become renowned
for being thorough, unique and dedicated to those that are serious about a scuba
diving career. We have interns working in Australia, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Honduras,
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bali (Indonesia all over also), Spain, Mexico,
Ireland, and Malaysia. Our dive training facilities are comprehensive and hence we have
many dive professionals from other dive stores and shops train with us and hence
there is a lot of dive networking to be done. Many dive trainees have dive jobs or at
least interviews lined up for them before they graduate from the divemaster or
diving instructor training programs.
START DATES: ONLY the Divemaster and
the professional Instructor traineeships have start dates set at 3 per month.
