Koh Sak Beach and Beach trail Koh Sak, Pattaya, Thailand is a wonderful island for both diving
and to relax on in the tropical sunshine. Being only 35-45 minutes from During the Koh Sak beach clean up for International Clean Up Day many of the guys took a short time out to see one of Koh Saks main attractions. A footpath from the South to the North of Koh Sak island homes many footprints of rather famous people over the years. Along the path are in some cases hand, and foot prints of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Lady Byrd Johnson, the Shah of Iran Reza Palahvi, the Duke of Edinburgh and his Majesty King Bhumibol Adhuliadej embedded in concrete. These are just a few of the people that have visited Koh Sak island back when it was a turtle sanctuary. Due to tourism in the area the turtle sanctuary has been moved to Sattahip just south of Pattaya and Jomtien and is flourishing with great work. This also is a very good day out. In the main picture you can see the south beach of Koh Sak with the trail running up as a path at the back. Just a couple of minutes walk and you are through to the restaurants and wonderful beach of the north side. There are many visitors that come to Pattaya and Jomtien regularly but have no idea that this exists - it's a very nice spot.
