PADI Scuba Diving Course Flow Chart Below is the PADI Scuba Diving Course pattern of scuba courses offered. It ranges from the Discover Scuba Diving Experience all the way through MSD (Master Scuba Diver) to the PADI professional levels.
NOTE: That the highest recreational PADI dive level is the Master Scuba Diver (MSD) whom is a diver certified in rescue techniques and also hold a minimum of 5 PADI specialty diver courses. The first rung on the PADI professional ladder is the Divemaster Course leading all of the way up to PADI Course Director - which is the highest possible PADI Professional diver ranking. A diver must be 18 years of age to begin the climb of the professional diver ladder. Mermaids offer full training through the professional dive courses. DM, OWSI, MSDT (Master Scuba Diver Trainer), PADI Staff Instructor, PADI Master Instructor and even preparation for your Course Director application to PADI.
