PADI Underwater
Photography Specialty Diver Course
As a diver,
you desperately want to share your dive experiences with others. There problems is,
words alone are not enough. Trying to describe the first shark or your
experience with a Manta Ray just does not do the experience justice. To this day
no one believes me about the size of the Moray that I saw on Elephant Head rock
in the Similan islands, Thailand! You must have pictures. This is why, sooner or later, every serious diver learns to take
underwater photographs — and why the PADI Underwater Photography Specialty
Diver course is the best way to discover how. The specialty course includes:
- Comprehensive self-study materials which make it easy
for you to master all of the necessary background knowledge before class.
- Hands-on practice with cameras in the classroom, pool
(or like conditions) and open water.
- The opportunity to expose a number of rolls of film,
including two full rolls in open water.
- Feedback from an experienced underwater photo pro so that
each roll you shoot is progressively better.
- An introduction to underwater digital photography.
Believe me there is a lot to learn and consider with
underwater photography such as buoyancy, checking of gauges, bubbles, movement,
current etc...
