Similans Live Aboard Scuba Diving Trip - November 2006 The Pj Mermaids Similans Live-aboard trips
have been operating for a good few years now and they never disappoint. The November
2006 saw a riotous The classic dive sites were taken according to the conditions. We had a little rain on the way out to the Similans from Taplamu (Khao Lak) and a spot half way through the trip but otherwise the weather was completely on our side. The live-aboard dive boat crew on the Seaking vessel has remained the same over the years and of course Dive masters Khun "Ae" and Pee "Singh" took the lead with Captain "Poo" taking a couple of dives to collate more video footage for his ongoing project. All of the dive sites had something to offer from Sea Horses to great corals and huge large schools of fish to superb swim-throughs. The last dive at Koh Bon had a few of the guys spotting Black and White Tip reef sharks and a Manta Ray which seemed like a very pleasant way to end the scuba dive trip. A group of us stayed on Phuket for a few days. Dave, Jake, Delcie and Ed took a trip to Phi Phi diving - All managed to get some great shots spotting more than anyone else on the trip - The following photos are courtesy of Dave.
